Beco WALLFORM is the ideal method for building basements and earth sheltered dwellings as the system of interlocking components filled with concrete is extremely versatile and quick to build. Reinforcement is incorporated into the formwork system as the blocks are assembled so that the structure will act as a retaining wall once concreted. With a tanking membrane applied to the outside face of the wall the structure below ground is then protected against the ingress of moisture and internal finishes may be applied directly to the WALLFORM.

Overall, the wall construction is thinner than normal masonry specifications and is already thermally insulated with the associated advantages of time, space and cost. A Wallform basement creates a natural and comfortable extension of living space within the footprint of the home.
